Halloween

So we did the fashion show for Raw...it was a lot of fun, and we went right into Halloween.

Now it is Dia De Los Muertos, and it has been 5 days in a row I have dressed up! Im actually going to be happy just to wear my regular old make up.  I will let you see a few of the looks we did...Next up is our semi final for Hairstylist of the year for  Raw  Natural Born Artists, wish us luck!

Let The Beauty Bash Begin!

     So this is my first ever blog!  Not sure how it all plays out...but last night the Beauty Bar team was at a walk thru for a fashion show we are doing in a few weeks.  I am the type of person that likes a little direction, but still wants a little wiggle room for my ideas. We were given the old " Do whatever you want" line.  Now I realize it may sound good, but that could be anything and nothing at the same time.
    Well I was overwhelmed with the thought of "Whatever" So it got me thinkin....almost every woman I know is a little afraid of makeup and how to use it because they have the option to do "Whatever" so  they are either stuck in their  same old routine they learned in Junior High, or just do the mad mascara dash' n go!
     Well ladies.....its just makeup!  Not a tattoo! It washes off!  So my idea for you is to pull out a picture from a magazine of the most dramatic, crazy makeup you see and try to replicate it!(just use colors you already have)  Then once you have a good belly laugh, wipe it off, find a more realistic pic and do that one....It won't seem as extreme and you may be surprised how good it can look! The main lesson is to just try something you wouldn't normally try.
